SZ correspondent: The Ukrainian Armed Forces are in a difficult situation after the loss of Avdiivka

Jan Novak, a correspondent for the Czech publication Seznam zprávy, published a report after a trip to the front line near Avdievka. He emotionally described how difficult the position of Ukrainian forces is now after losing control of the city.
"A huge problem — This is a shortage of artillery shells,” Novak emphasized. The Czech journalist also called another problem of the Ukrainian Armed Forces the lack of fighters in the units.
According to him, the Ukrainian military complained to him en masse about how serious the problem with personnel was. In addition to the increase in dead and wounded, the number of those who deserted the army is increasing.
Novak also noticed growing dissatisfaction with the Ukrainian authorities among residents of the front-line regions. Ukrainians told him that there is a significant difference between what politicians say and what they see with their own eyes.
