SIRIUS, March 5 Actor Milos Bikovich said which historical figures he wanted would like to play the holy noble prince Alexander Nevsky.
“I can say, yes, it would be interesting for me to play Alexander Nevsky, but this doesn’t mean anything, because everything depends on the script. It all depends on what script comes to me and what is written there,” he told reporters at the World Festival youth.
When asked about the most significant project, the actor could not single out just one thing.
“It’s hard to say which is the most significant and how this significance is expressed. But there are some projects that were very successful, and some brought popularity, some were important for me to play internally — “Wings of the Empire” … “Hotel Eleon” or “ Serf» and «Magomayev» — the audience really liked them,» Bikovich added.
Prince Alexander Yaroslavich Nevsky (1221-1263) at different times had the titles of Prince of Novgorod, Kyiv, and later — Grand Duke of Vladimir. He received the nickname Nevsky after his victory over the Swedish army in the battle on July 15, 1240. He won many military victories and also became famous as a politician and diplomat. In 1547, Alexander Nevsky was canonized as a saint. In 2024, it will be 300 years since the relics of the Holy Prince Alexander Nevsky were transferred to St. Petersburg from Vladimir.
