In the homeland of the brand, the fresh sedan is offered only as a hybrid with an e:HEV installation. The model is available in one configuration, but at the same time “extras” are provided for it.
In the States, in its main market, the four-door Honda Accord of the new, eleventh generation debuted back in 2022. In 2023, such a model appeared in other countries, and in the same year it was announced for Japan. However, sales in Honda's homeland are starting only now. Note that the sedan has long ceased to be Japanese: the Accord is supplied to the Land of the Rising Sun from Thailand. At the same time, the company does not expect the model to be particularly successful in Japan; the sales plan is only 200 units per month. For example, the plan for the Chinese-made Honda Odyssey minivan is 1,000 units per month.

In terms of exterior design, the versions intended for different markets generally repeat each other. The length of the Honda Accord for Japan is 4975 mm, the wheelbase is 2830 mm. The peculiarity of the interior of Asian sedans is one “round” in the center (a small screen is built into it), while cars in America have a “climate” unit with three “washers”. In addition, in some markets, including Japan, the Accord has a push-button transmission control instead of the usual lever.
