MOSCOW, March 6 Russian President Vladimir Putin called Valentina Tereshkova on Wednesday and personally congratulated the world's first female cosmonaut on her birthday, said press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov.
«Putin congratulated Valentina Tereshkova on her birthday by phone and wished her, first of all, health and further success,» Peskov said.
