The village of Rozhdestvenka in the Belgorod region on the border with Ukraine was attacked by three drones, says Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov. As a result, he said, two people were killed and another was in serious condition.
“An excavator and a manipulator were also damaged,” the official added.
The Russian military reported repelling 8 March, several attacks by Ukrainian drones on border regions. According to the telegram channel of the Ministry of Defense, since the night, air defense systems have shot down 15 drones in the Volgograd region, 7 in the Belgorod region and 1 in the Kursk region.
Gladkov wrote that in the Belgorod region, drones were shot down in the area of the villages of Belomestnoye, Boldyrevka, Varvarovka, Krasnaya Yaruga and Rozhdestvenka. In the village of Malaya Pristan, according to him, the roof of an agricultural enterprise was broken due to the explosion, but no one was injured.
