MOSCOW, March 7 Organizers of protests at the walls Russian diplomatic missions will bear full administrative and criminal liability for attempts to disrupt the elections, Ambassador at Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Gennady Askaldovich said in an interview.
“As we approach the elections, our diplomatic missions are receiving reports of various kinds of “protest actions” being prepared by the “non-systemic opposition” near the walls of Russian diplomatic missions, as well as at polling stations,” the ambassador said.
“I would like to warn the organizers of these provocations that they will bear full administrative and criminal responsibility for organizing riots and attempts to disrupt the elections,” he emphasized.
Askaldovich also called on Russian compatriots abroad “not to participate in such “events” and not to spoil the holiday of the people’s will for themselves and others.”
