MOSCOW, March 8 The cost of Bitcoin for the first time approached 70 thousand dollars, reaching a record high, follows from trading data.
On the largest cryptocurrency exchange in terms of trading volume Binance, as of 18:39 Moscow time, Bitcoin rose in price by 0.94 percent per day — to $67,874. At the same time, minutes earlier the figure rose to 69 thousand dollars. Shortly before this, Bitcoin rose to $69,900, which became a new high.
According to the CoinMarketCap portal, which calculates the average price of more than 20 exchanges, the value of the cryptocurrency grew by 1.08 percent, to an average of $68,017. The dynamics are also given for the day.
The record level of 69 thousand dollars was first reached on November 10, 2021. This week, on Tuesday, the price of the cryptocurrency was again at this level, but then rolled back.
