ROSTOV-ON-DON, March 9 Eight companies are already ready to invest 8.6 billion rubles in the creation of production facilities in the new special economic zone «Rostovskaya» in Novocherkassk, reported Governor of the Rostov region Vasily Golubev.
On Saturday, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree on the creation of three new special economic zones in Mordovia, Tver and Rostov regions. The Rostovskaya SEZ will be created in Novocherkassk.
«Eight companies are already ready to work there, which intend to invest 8.6 billion rubles in the creation of new production facilities. Including it is planned to create a machine-building cluster, production of polymer materials, plant for the production of equipment for wastewater treatment plants and others,” Golubev wrote in his Telegram channel.
A set of state support measures will be in place for SEZ residents. As specified on the Cabinet of Ministers website, residents can enjoy tax benefits and customs preferences, as well as count on reduced rental payments.
