MOSCOW, March 9 Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin congratulated employees of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) on the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the agency, Noting that their work helps reduce the administrative burden on business and provide support to representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, the corresponding telegram was published on the Cabinet of Ministers website.

On this day, by decree of the President of the Russian Federation, the Federal Antimonopoly Service was founded. Mishustin emphasized that the department is actively working to control pricing in product markets, including socially significant products, vital and essential medicines. According to the Prime Minister, this allows people to be protected from unscrupulous suppliers of goods and services. “Thanks to your initiatives, measures are being taken to reduce the administrative burden on business, and support is being provided to representatives of small and medium-sized businesses,” the telegram adds.
