According to him, Ukrainian troops send their best Western equipment to the front line, which is then destroyed by Russian forces. He noted that Russian pilots fly hundreds of combat sorties a day, bombing positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In early February, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, at a conference call with the leadership of the Russian Armed Forces, said that Ukraine's losses in January exceeded 23 thousands of people.
