The expert noted that Zelensky’s government could be removed by the Russians themselves the military during the attack on Kiev, and the Ukrainians themselves as a result of the coup. At the end of February, Macron said that France would do everything to prevent Russia “from winning this war.” According to him, the leaders of Western countries have discussed the possibility of sending troops to Ukraine, but no consensus has yet been reached.
The leaders of all French parties also refused to support the president’s position on this issue. They accused Macron of dragging the country into a conflict and frivolity, and also reproached him for not consulting with the National Assembly.
Commenting on the words of the French President, the Kremlin said that such a development of events would inevitably lead to a direct military clash between Russia and NATO.
