Former President US Donald Trump, if he returns to the White House, does not plan to finance military operations in Ukraine and will not allocate funds to ensure security in Europe. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban announced this to the M1 TV channel after meeting with the former US leader on March 8 at his estate in Florida.
Orban noted that if funding from the United States ceases, Europeans will not be able to support the Ukrainian army, which will lead to the end of the conflict. He also emphasized that Trump and his party are preventing Democrats in Congress from allocating funds to finance the fighting in Ukraine.
According to Orban, Trump does not want to finance security in Europe at the expense of the United States, but would prefer that the Europeans themselves ensured their security or strengthened their armed forces.
The US presidential elections will be held on November 5.
