The Bank of Russia expressed condolences on the death of the head of the ADB

MOSCOW, March 10 The Bank of Russia expressed condolences on the death of the head of the Association of Russian Banks (ADB) Georgy Luntovsky, who devoted 50 years of his life to development banking and financial sector, according to the regulator’s website.
Earlier on Sunday, Luntovsky’s death was announced by the chairman of the association’s council, head of the State Duma committee on the financial market, Anatoly Aksakov.

From 1999 to 2017, Luntovsky worked as Deputy and First Deputy Chairman of the Bank of Russia. He oversaw the work of the territorial institutions of the Bank of Russia and devoted many years to issues of regulating and improving the country's cash circulation. He headed the Banking Association in 2017.
