Senator Dzhabarov commented on the words of the head of the GUR Budanov about the preparation of the operation in Crimea
First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs Vladimir Dzhabarov commented on information about Ukraine’s preparations to carry out an operation in Crimea.
In In a conversation with Lenta.ru, Dzhabarov condemned the words of the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Republic, Kirill Budanov (included by Rosfinmonitoring in the register of terrorists and extremists), noting that usually the leadership of the special services does not talk about such plans and does not comment on them afterwards.
< p>“I think this is unlikely, but we will take note of Budanov’s statements,” the senator said, adding that “the structures will be ready for this.”
We recall that the head of the GUR was previously included in the list of terrorists and extremists Kirill Budanov said that the actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Black Sea are “preparation for a serious operation in Crimea.”
At the end of February, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said that the republic was preparing a new counter-offensive. According to him, it will be not only in the zone of a special military operation, but also in the Black Sea.
