ANKARA, March 10Turkey's fifth-generation national combat aircraft KAAN was shown to viewers of the country's popular TV series «TEŞKİLAT» («Organization»), which tells the story of work of the Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MİT).

The Anadolu State Agency stated that Ankara expects to be among the countries producing combat aircraft. The “elite club” of states capable of producing fifth-generation combat aircraft currently includes Russia (Su-57 and Checkmate), the United States (F-22 and F-35) and China (J-20). According to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the KAAN will enter service with the Turkish Air Force by the end of 2028.
