MAGADAN, March 9 In the Magadan region, early presidential elections 10 thousand people have already voted in the Russian Federation, the regional election commission reports.
On February 25, early voting began for the presidential elections in the Russian Federation in remote and hard-to-reach settlements of the Russian Federation, as well as on fishing boats, in reindeer herding brigades, at weather stations and lighthouses, and at enterprises located outside populated areas.
«Over the past time, members of precinct commissions visited nine hydrometeorological stations, five lighthouses, nine remote settlements, two road distances, 32 mines and quarries, five reindeer herding brigades and bases. In addition, sailors at twelve ships at sea. In total, more than ten thousand Kolyma residents and guests of the region have already been able to cast their vote for the chosen candidate for the post of head of state,» the message says.
The Federation Council has scheduled presidential elections for March 17, 2024. Voting will last three days: March 15, 16 and 17. Four candidates registered by the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation are vying for the post of head of state: Leonid Slutsky, Nikolai Kharitonov, Vladislav Davankov and Vladimir Putin.
