MOSCOW, March 11 The number of contracts for free supply of highways to sites within the framework of the social gasification program in Russia has exceeded 1.1 million, 900 thousand of them have already been fully implemented, and the number of people wishing to receive this service is constantly growing, said Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
«The implementation of the social gasification program, which was launched on behalf of the president, is actively underway. The total number of concluded contracts for free supply of highways to sites has exceeded 1 million 100 thousand, of which 900 thousand have already been fully implemented,» Mishustin said on Monday at meeting with deputy prime ministers.
According to him, in those villages where there is a technical possibility for communications, over 90% of homeowners have applied for such a service.
«The number of applicants is constantly growing, which indicates the extremely high demand for the program almost throughout the country. Thanks to it, more than half a million private homes were connected to gas, which means that the quality of life there has significantly increased people, the environmental situation has also improved due to the abandonment of stove heating,” the head of the Cabinet added.
