
MOSCOW, March 12. Startups included in the register of small technology companies (STC) will be able to obtain the status of a participant in the Skolkovo project without undergoing an examination, the Skolkovo press service reports.
Simplification of status
The assignment of status will be carried out on the basis of a formal verification within five working days. This decision was made by the Board of Directors of the Skolkovo Foundation (VEB.RF Group). It will come into force after approval by the Foundation's Board of Trustees.
The presence of a company in the MTC register provides simplified access to support measures and allows you to minimize the collection of documents.
Another change supported by the Board of Directors is benefits for project participants in the MTC register when receiving microgrants.
“We reviewed and approved the approach for Skolkovo’s participation in the program to support small technology companies (STC), which is being implemented by the government together with development organizations of the VEB.RF group. The decision made provides for setting up the fund’s regulations and its support tools, in particular, microgrants. We hope that this will make it possible to further support domestic developers of promising technologies. According to Igor Drozdov, Chairman of the Board of the Skolkovo Foundation, the foundation focuses on providing micro-grants to participants in the Skolkovo project, which are small technology companies with revenues of up to 300 million rubles.
“For participants in the Skolkovo project who have not yet received the status of a small technology company, we have retained the opportunity to receive micro-grants to compensate for the costs of registering the results of intellectual activity,” Drozdov said, as quoted by the press service.
