Ukraine has suspended the process of adding companies to the list of “war sponsors”

MOSCOW, March 11The new head of the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NACP) of Ukraine, Viktor Pavluschik, announced on Monday the suspension of the process of adding companies to the list of “international war sponsors” due to the need to resolve regulatory documents.
«»The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption has suspended the process of adding companies to the list of international war sponsors. Clearly, this issue needs to be regulated. This process is a communication not only within the NACP, but also by all government bodies. Therefore, yes, there should be rationing, and in In the future, this may serve as a basis for further decision-making,” the Ukrainian publication Liga quotes Pavluschik as saying.

According to him, NAPC has been independently determining which companies are “war sponsors” for two years now. Sometimes this creates problems for Ukraine with other states — Hungary, Austria, China, Greece.

According to the publication, Minister of Justice Denis Maluska in a recent interview with Forbes said that international partners are complaining about the list of companies and called the logic of including companies in this list incomprehensible.
The Ukrainian list of “war sponsors” includes, in particular, the Belgian gas system operator Fluxys, the largest German investor in the construction industry Knauf, the Georgian group of wine companies Bolero, the Swiss company Nestle, two leading German companies producing high-precision machine tools Spinner and Dmg Mori, one of the world's largest diamond production and export companies Shree Ramkrishna Exports, product manufacturers PepsiCo and Mars, two of the world's leading tobacco companies — Philip Morris International and Japan Tobacco International, Alibaba Group Holding Limited, which owns the online commerce platform AliExpress, a British company Unilever, the American company Subway, the seafood company Vici, the Chinese automobile company Geely, the Irish marine fuel supplier Peninsula Petroleum and others.
As the NAPC previously stated, the list of “international war sponsors” is a means to achieve the goal — the departure of international business from Russia.
