
ST. PETERSBURG, March 12 In St. Petersburg, 15 amateur fishermen were evacuated from an ice floe in the Gulf of Finland , the State Emergency Service reported on the Telegram channel.
“On the outer side of the dam near the ring road in the Petrodvortsovy district, at a distance of 20 meters, an ice sheet broke off,” the department clarified.
People from the ice floe were brought to shore using a hovercraft.
They did not require medical assistance.
