WASHINGTON, March 12 The United States will announce on Tuesday its intention to send ATACMS tactical missiles for Ukraine, the Politico newspaper writes, citing American officials familiar with this decision.
According to him, these missiles will become part of a new military aid package worth about $300 million. The package is expected to include older-style missiles capable of traveling over 100 kilometers and carrying “hundreds of cluster munitions.” The publication's sources do not specify how many missiles of this type the United States plans to supply to Ukraine.
The new package of US military assistance to Ukraine will be the first since the end of December last year.
