MOSCOW, March 14 To vote in the elections of the President of the Russian Federation, more than 5 million applications were submitted through the Mobile Voter mechanism, and more than 4 million for the DEG, said the head of the Central Election Commission, Ella Pamfilova.
«5 million 195 thousand 348 applications were submitted to the Mobile Voter. And 4 million 786 thousand 582 were submitted for remote electronic voting,» Pamfilova said, delivering a report on readiness for voting in the presidential elections.
The Federation Council has scheduled presidential elections for March 17, 2024. Voting will last three days: March 15, 16 and 17. Four candidates registered by the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation are vying for the post of head of state: Leonid Slutsky, Nikolai Kharitonov, Vladislav Davankov and Vladimir Putin.
