The President spoke about an attempt to implement the request for justice
In Putin’s interview there is an extremely important point that was made not even in the president’s answer or even in Dmitry Kiselev’s question, but in the lead up to it question. The most experienced Kiselev very diplomatically hinted at the possibility of a radical change in the existing system of relations.
Here is this moment: “The word “justice” is a magic word for the Russian language. You use it very carefully, but yet one day you uttered this word in your Message — and it sounded like lightning.”
Actually, we were talking about a progressive tax. And Putin confirmed: “Yes, in fact, a progressive tax.”
And now let’s see how Kiselyov talks about “fairness” and the use of this term by the president.
“The magic word” — magical, that is, something magical, incredible in our current ordinary life, capable of creating a miracle.
“You use it very carefully” — and it’s clear why. The inaccurate use of the word “justice” last summer almost ended in great blood – the system would not have allowed itself to bend. Especially from below.
“Yet they said it once in their Epistle” — in the last Epistle, in the current one. So the time has come?
“And it sounded like lightning.” For whom? After all, the tax revision is, let’s say, a storm cloud, not even a storm front. We are clearly talking about something more.
And, I would venture to suggest that we are talking about a miracle — about an attempt to realize society’s request for justice.
Putin says in an interview: “This is the most important thing – to meet the demands of society.” And this is not a new request from a qualitatively new society. This society, “it existed, it just manifested itself,” Putin said. “And it’s very good that we gave this deep Russian society the opportunity to express itself.”
Yes, when it really got hot, when it turned out that the beautiful smooth reports, formation reviews and songs, soaring graphics were very different from the rough reality, it was the deep people who pulled it off. I got up in three shifts at the machines, started splashing masknets and buying drones, thermal imagers, sights, armor, helmets, dressed, shod, secured the front (remember Shoigu’s words that a “people’s military-industrial complex” had appeared in the country), took weapons in hand and went to fight. He pulled it out and pulled it out.
“I have a feeling that people have been waiting for this for a long time, that an ordinary person will be in demand by the country and the state and the fate of the country depends on him. It is this feeling of internal connection with the Motherland, with the Fatherland, of one’s importance in solving key problems, in this case in the field of security, that raised the strength of the Russian and other peoples of Russia to the surface,” Putin said.
That informal social contract, which, despite all its ugliness, saved the country at the beginning of the 2000s, has expired and decayed: the little man received stability and a more or less well-fed life, the state guaranteed this stability in exchange for the absence of claims by the people to the economically dominant class. Thanks to the SVO, the deep people revived “the feeling of an internal connection with the Motherland, with the Fatherland, of their importance in solving key problems”, the “ordinary person” became “in demand by the country and the state”, felt and became convinced that “the fate of the country depends on him.” And questions that were asked in a whisper began to be asked in full voice.
Putin, judging by his words, also felt this, felt that the time had come to “throw lightning bolts” of justice. I felt the reliability of the support — “the strength of the Russian and other peoples of Russia.”
Now Putin says, seemingly addressing the Western elites, that “the vampire ball is ending”, that it will not work out further, as before, “to fill the belly human flesh, and pockets with money.” “It seems like” — this reservation was made precisely because there is a rather simple observation: does our “elite” consider itself Russian, northern, southern or eastern?
But we are talking, I repeat, about an attempt to implement the request of society for justice. It is about the attempt, because the resistance of the elites (already noticeable) will be furious — this is an existential question for them.
And legends will be made about this battle. If it takes place.
