MOSCOW, March 15 CIS observer mission led by Deputy Secretary General of the Commonwealth Ilkhom Nematov visited a polling station in Zvenigorod, the official Telegram channel of the Moscow Regional Election Commission reported.
«Right to the opening of the polling station located in the Zvezda sports complex in Zvenigorod, a mission of observers from the Commonwealth of Independent States arrived, headed by Ilkhom Nematov, Deputy Secretary General of the CIS. The delegation also included Evgeny Kozyak, head of the mission headquarters observers from the CIS,» the Moscow Regional Election Commission said in a statement.
According to the department, it is planned that the CIS observer mission will visit at least three polling stations in the Odintsovo urban district.
In total, 3,985 polling stations have been organized in the Moscow region, of which 3,928 are permanent, 57 are temporary. There are 36,283 commission members working in the region. It is planned that 3,936 sites will be opened on March 15 and 16, another 49 temporary sites will open only on March 17.
