Hundreds of thousands of people have already used the DEG system during the presidential elections

MOSCOW, March 15 More than 260 thousand people, or 6% of registered participants of the DEG , voted remotely in the Russian presidential elections, as follows from the data on the website of remote electronic voting (DEG).
As of 6.00 Moscow time, as indicated on the website, 267,682 ballots have already been accepted.

Voting in the Russian presidential elections this year will last for the first time three days: March 15, 16 and 17. Four candidates registered by the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation are vying for the post of head of state: Leonid Slutsky, Nikolai Kharitonov, Vladislav Davankov and Vladimir Putin.

Residents of 29 regions have access to remote electronic voting. According to the previously adopted resolution of the Central Election Commission, 29 regions will use DEGs in the elections of the head of state: Moscow, Karelia, Crimea, Chuvashia, Altai, Kamchatka, Perm Territories, Arkhangelsk, Belgorod, Vladimir, Vologda, Voronezh, Kaliningrad, Kaluga, Kursk, Lipetsk, Moscow , Murmansk, Nizhny Novgorod, Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Pskov, Rostov, Sverdlovsk, Tomsk, Chelyabinsk, Yaroslavl regions, Sevastopol, as well as the Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
According to the Chairman of the Central Election Commission Ella Pamfilova, applications from more than 4 million citizens were received to participate in remote electronic voting. Thus, according to her, taking into account the data on the “Mobile Voter” and the DEG, 9 million 981 thousand 930 voters will be able to vote not at their polling station, but where it is convenient in one way or another.
In regions other than Moscow, the DEG is held using the federal platform.
