
MOSCOW, March 14 New national projects in Russia must be launched in 2025, President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with government members.
The head of state recalled that in his message to the Federal Assembly he outlined specific goals in the fields of demography, healthcare, education, raising children and youth, as well as personnel training. In addition, it indicates the tasks of strengthening technological sovereignty and the formation of new digital platforms, improvement of cities and villages, development of transport and other infrastructure.
“New national projects should be launched in these and other key areas starting next year. <…> Work must begin immediately, and it is important to ensure detailed planning of all elements of each national project,” Putin noted.
The head of state, in his message to the Federal Assembly on February 29, announced the launch of five new national projects in Russia: “Family”, “Personnel”, “Youth of Russia”, “Data Economy”, as well as “Long-term and active life.»
He called for the unification of actions of all levels of government — from federal to municipal, as well as all work — from strategic decision-making to practical implementation.
«Any narrow departmental approach is absolutely unacceptable here,» the president said.
As the head of state emphasized, trends in the Russian economy give grounds for to believe that the country's development goals outlined in the message are achievable.
«Economy growth in January is 4.6 percent, GDP growth. If last year we had 3.6 percent — generally satisfactory, a good indicator for January — 4.6 percent. It is clear that this is only the beginning of the year,» Putin said.
As a result, he instructed the government to decide on the main approaches and principles for the implementation of new national projects by the end of April.
