MOSCOW, March 14 The Moscow-St. Petersburg high-speed rail project has been worked out and ready from the economic side, said First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Andrei Belousov.
Russian President Vladimir Putin is holding a meeting on Thursday on the Moscow-St. Petersburg high-speed railway, the construction of which is starting in Russia. Such a high-speed railway will also require trains.
«In accordance with your instructions, we have once again worked through all the economic aspects of this project, the issues that were raised at your meeting, including sources of financing,» Belousov said.
«To date, all issues have been resolved and we have optimized financial sources in accordance with your instructions, resolved issues of a more equitable distribution of risks and guarantees for these risks. Therefore, from the economic side, this project is now fully developed and ready And we are ready to sign the relevant regulatory documents, including the concession agreement,» he added.
