
MOSCOW, March 15 Over the past year, more than 100 Russian companies have shown interest in investment cooperation with Cuba and joined work in this area, said Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko .
«The steps taken by the parties have made it possible to significantly increase the interest of Russian business in investment cooperation with Cuba. Over the past year, more than 100 Russian companies from various sectors of the economy have joined the work in the Cuban direction,» Chernyshenko said during the 21st meeting of the intergovernmental Russian-Cuban commission for trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation.
He noted that these are companies from such areas as heavy industry, energy, banking, agriculture, information technology, tourism and others.
