In Ivanovo, a protocol of “disobedience” to the security forces was drawn up against the editor-in-chief of IvanovoNews Sergei Kustov, the editors of the publication reported.
On March 12, Kustov went to the site of the crash of an Il-76 military transport aircraft near the Severny airfield, in as a result of which 15 people died.
According to the journalist, five police officers attacked him without warning, twisted his arms, demanded that he delete the footage and took away his phone. After that, he was placed in the “glass” of a UAZ official car and kept there for about three hours.
Kustov noted that there were about ten other people next to him who had come to see the consequences of the crash. There were no cordons at the site and no comments were made to anyone except him.
In the protocol, the police indicated that Kustov did not respond to their demands to leave the “cordoned off area of the crash site.” “I do not rule out that [those involved in the arrest] Kolpakov and Marinin need to somehow explain to the commander of the military unit <…> why they did not comply with his order to cordon off, and a crowd of civilians was walking around the scene,” — the journalist suggested.
