Ural Federal University employee detained for attempting to pour green paint on election ballots
In Yekaterinburg, a woman was detained for trying to pour green paint on the ballots in the ballot box. Later it turned out that a teacher from the Ural Federal University was going to commit illegal actions.

The university noted that the employee “is engaged in science, and there are only positive reviews about her,” and also expressed the opinion that she was a victim of telephone scammers who persuaded or forced her do so.
Ura.ru, citing a source in law enforcement agencies, reports that the woman explained her actions precisely by pressure from scammers. According to her, the criminals extracted 15 million rubles from her and said that they would return the money only in exchange for completing the task.

As a result, the court found the 50-year-old woman guilty of petty hooliganism and sentenced her to 15 days of administrative arrest.
