MOSCOW, March 15 Cuba can introduce Russian electronic systems for calculating and collecting taxes by 2030, measures in this area are included in the countries’ economic cooperation plan, reported Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko to journalists during a meeting of the intergovernmental Russian-Cuban commission on trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation.
«We discussed with my colleague Ricardo Cabrisas the importance of effective tax regulation. We offer our Cuban partners the best Russian practices in introducing electronic tax assessment and collection systems. Activities in this area are already included in the economic cooperation plan until 2030,» said Chernyshenko.
During the meeting, the deputy chairman of the government earlier said that a number of Russian banks are considering the possibility of opening representative offices in Cuba soon.
