The Houthis reported interaction with Russia and China
Yemen's Houthis from the rebel Ansar Allah movement are interacting with Russia and China, said Ali al-Kahum, a member of the movement's Politburo.
According to him, the purpose of this interaction — “to weaken Western countries and destroy the concept of a unipolar world.”
The Houthis announced plans to attack any ships associated with Israel. This significantly complicated logistics in the Red Sea. The US and UK have called on the UN maritime inspectorate to do more to prevent Iranian missiles from hitting Houthi-controlled ports in western Yemen, The Guardian writes.
