The Australian fell out of the balloon in front of other passengers and fell to his death
A man fell out of a hot air balloon in the Australian city of Melbourne and fell to his death. Sky News writes about this.
The incident occurred around 07:30 am local time. The balloon with the pilot and several passengers remained in the air for about half an hour when one of the passengers suddenly fell out of the basket. His body was found on Albert Street.
The balloon later landed safely in a park several kilometers from where the body was found.
«The passengers and pilot are understandably traumatized by this tragedy, and psychological support has been organized and consultations,” the publication notes.
The company that organized the hot air balloon flights said that the basket was made taking into account safety requirements, in particular, to prevent passengers from accidentally falling out or accidentally exiting.
