MOSCOW, March 16 People bring flowers to the Satire Theater in memory of the departed from the life of People's Artist of the RSFSR, president of the theater Alexander Shirvindte, the correspondent reports.
Shirvindt died at the age of 90 on Friday. In front of the main entrance of the Satire Theater there is a portrait of him, to which people are bringing flowers.
In the theater lobby there is also one of the last lifetime portraits of the actor. The screens show excerpts from performances in which Shirvindt played.
Alexander Shirvindt was born on July 19, 1934 in Moscow. After graduating from the Shchukin Theater School in 1956, he was accepted into the troupe of the Theater. Lenin Komsomol (now Lenkom Mark Zakharov). Shirvindt has served at the Satire Theater since 1970, from 2000 to 2021 he was the artistic director of the theater, and in 2021 he became its president.
