ENERGODAR, March 17. International observer of the Russian presidential elections from Latvia, Sofia Vasilyevskaya, told reporters that she would bring to the attention of the world community the fact of an attack by Ukrainian militants on the city of Energodar in the Zaporozhye region.
«This is the purpose of why we are here. Understanding that from European countries won't come here, and if they do, they won't show all this. Our goal, as independent experts, and I am also a member of the independent union of journalists, is to still show what really is. All this is recorded, all this will be published» , Vasilyevskaya told reporters.
The Federation Council has scheduled presidential elections for March 17, 2024. For the first time, voting lasts three days: March 15, 16 and 17. Four candidates registered by the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation are vying for the post of head of state: Leonid Slutsky, Nikolai Kharitonov, Vladislav Davankov and Vladimir Putin.
