KALINGRAD, March 17 A quiz site for voters in the Kaliningrad region was subjected to a DDoS attack from abroad; too many people are coming to the server at the same time requests, the governor's press secretary Dmitry Lyskov told reporters.
«»The quiz site is currently operating with great difficulties, as the organizers explain, a DDoS attack is occurring. In simple words, too many simultaneous requests are sent to the server, with which it is eventually overloaded… According to the quiz organizers, the attack on the site is being carried out from “abroad,” said Lyskov.
Lyskov noted that according to the latest data, more than 270 thousand people have already registered in the quiz “Kaliningrad: Russian Land”. The quiz is organized for those who came to vote at the polling station, and in the evening two apartments, two cars, as well as many other valuable prizes will be raffled off.
«Specialists are working to solve the problem… Prize drawings will resume after the attack on the portal is overcome,» Lyskov said.
