The magistrate in Obninsk sentenced the leader of the movement “For Human Rights” from the Kaluga region, Tatyana Kotlyar, to a fine of 450 thousand rubles in the seventh criminal case of fictitious registration of foreigners (Article 322.2 of the Criminal Code). SOTA reports this.

The security forces accuse Kotlyar of registering more than 10 thousand foreigners in her two apartments since 2009 as part of her rights protection activities. The woman explained that she registers people for free, trying to help them.
“Due to the lack of a stamp in their passport, their rights are constantly violated. Both civil and social,” explained 72-year-old Kotlyar in a conversation with OVD-Info.
In 2015, the court fined the human rights activist 150 thousand rubles and granted an amnesty; two years later, she released her from punishment. upon expiration of the statute of limitations. In 2019, the court dismissed another case. In 2022, Kotlyar was sentenced to a fine of 340 thousand rubles, and a year ago she was given a fine of 650 thousand rubles.
