In Tajikistan, six polling stations where the Russian presidential elections were held closed at 20.00 (18.00 Moscow time), and vote counting began.
“The elections were held with high voter turnout; in six polling stations in Tajikistan, according to preliminary data, more than 9.5 thousand people voted,” she said.
The Federation Council has scheduled presidential elections for March 17, 2024. Voting takes place over three days: March 15, 16 and 17. Four Central Election Commission candidates of the Russian Federation are vying for the post of head of state: Leonid Slutsky, Nikolai Kharitonov, Vladislav Davankov and Vladimir Putin.
