KALININGRAD, March 19 A fire broke out on board the trawler «Captain Lobanov» near Kaliningrad, there were casualties, said the governor's press secretary Dmitry Lyskov.
““Today, as a result of an emergency situation, a fire broke out on board the trawler Captain Lobanov. There are casualties. On behalf of the regional government, we express our deepest condolences to the families and friends of the victims,” Lyskov said.
«The wounded will be provided with all necessary medical care. We will also provide support to the families of the victims. The situation is under the personal control of Governor Anton Alikhanov,» the agency's interlocutor added.
The press service of the regional head office of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that the department has not yet been involved in the rescue operation, but a helicopter with rescuers on board and two boats are ready to take off.
