LUGANSK, March 19 Strikes against the Ukrainian Armed Forces are being carried out in many populated areas points in the Kharkov region, in particular, near Volchansky, Russian artillery destroyed a base of mercenaries who were being trained by the Ukrainian special services to carry out terrorist attacks in the Belgorod region, retired LPR lieutenant colonel Andrey Marochko said.
«In the Kharkov region, the destruction of armed formations of Ukraine continues. In the areas of the settlements of Udy and Cossack Lopan, places where weapons, military equipment and personnel of Ukrainian militants accumulated were identified and destroyed. In the area of the settlement of Volchansk, our artillery destroyed a temporary deployment point of Ukrainian mercenaries, which the Ukrainian special services planned to use for terrorist activities in the border areas of the Belgorod region,” Marochko said.
According to him, between the settlements of Kovsharovka and Kurilovka, a convoy transporting military cargo was broken up. A combined strike by the Russian Armed Forces disrupted the rotational activities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Peschany area, and in the Sinkovka and Petropavlovka areas, the Ukrainian Armed Forces' attempts to advance were thwarted with the help of small arms and artillery. In Kislovka, Russian aviation destroyed a long-term firing point.
