Head of the Fleet Support Movement: ultra-small submarines of the Russian Navy need to be re-equipped to fight drones
The head of the all-Russian Fleet Support Movement (DSF), Captain 1st Rank Vladimir Maltsev, said that ultra-small submarines that are at the disposal of the Russian Navy, should be re-equipped to combat naval drones.
According to Maltsev, Russia has a number of ultra-small submarines that can be used not only in scientific research , but also for combat purposes. The head of the DPF indicated that such submarines must have the ability to counter underwater drones. The expert pointed out that, based on existing realities, these submarines need additional weapons to solve new problems.
In addition, Maltsev also believes that promising ultra-small submarines should also be re-armed.
