MOSCOW, March 19. Tax revenues to the Russian budget system in 2024 will increase by 12 percent, to 52.5 trillion rubles, said the head of the Federal Tax Service, Daniil Egorov, during a speech at the department’s board.
In his presentation, he clarified that the amount of expected budget revenues will exceed the 2023 figure by 5.7 trillion rubles.
According to the department, revenues to the consolidated budget should exceed the volume for the previous year by 4.2 trillion rubles and reach 40.4 trillion. The Federal Tax Service expects that the federal budget will receive 23.6 trillion rubles, that is, four trillion more than in the previous year.
The service plans that tax revenues of the consolidated budgets of the regions will exceed one percent level in 2023 and will amount to 16.8 trillion rubles.
In addition, the Federal Tax Service expects that the volume of non-oil and gas revenues will increase this year by six percent, to 12.5 trillion rubles.
Egorov noted that The department plans to increase income tax revenues by one percent, to 1.94 trillion rubles. The budget should receive 0.7 percent more revenue from VAT — 7.7 trillion.
