
MOSCOW, March 18 Chairman of the Union of Theater Workers of Russia Vladimir Mashkov called People's Artist of the Russian Federation Alexander Shirvindt the personification of the light and beautiful, everyone who met him wanted to be more beautiful , lighter, bolder and more majestic.
Shirvindt died on March 15 at the age of 90. The farewell ceremony for the artist takes place at the Satire Theater. After this, the artist’s body is cremated. The urn with his ashes will be buried at the capital's Novodevichy cemetery, the date will be chosen by the family.

He called Shirvindt the personification of lightness and beauty. “Everyone who met him encountered his spark of talent; they wanted to be a little more beautiful, lighter, bolder, more majestic. Not everyone succeeded, but everyone strived,” noted the chairman of the STD.
Alexander Shirvindt was born on July 19, 1934 in Moscow. After graduating from the Shchukin Theater School in 1956, he was accepted into the troupe of the Theater. Lenin Komsomol (now Lenkom Mark Zakharov). Shirvindt has served at the Satire Theater since 1970, from 2000 to 2021 he was the artistic director of the theater, and in 2021 he became its president.
