Russian woman suffered a burn on her back after surgery
A resident of Tyumen received a burn on her back after surgery. According to the Ural Mash telegram channel, the woman turned to a gynecologist at the West Siberian Medical Center for consultation. She was scheduled for surgery.
The intervention was performed under general anesthesia. Upon returning home, she felt a sharp pain and discovered a charred hole on her back.
The woman first went to a medical facility where she had surgery, but they ignored her there. Then she went to another hospital, where she was diagnosed with a third-degree burn and the need for a skin graft.
It turned out that during the surgical procedure, doctors incorrectly placed the electrode and the film melted under her back.
< p>The woman demanded compensation of three million rubles, but the court awarded only 350 thousand. During court hearings, lawyers insisted that the equipment was in good working order, and the patient herself decided to go home with a slight redness.
It is also reported that the medical center filed an appeal to challenge the amount assigned to the woman.
