
< strong>MOSCOW, March 20Experts discussed the development of television and radio broadcasting in Russia, in particular the potential of the Russian Federation for the development of domestic equipment and software, the new NTV television complex equipped using Russian technologies, as well as the allocation of more than 7 billion rubles for particularly significant projects at the unified demo of the industrial competence centers (ICC) «Broadcasting» and «Publishing and Printing», which takes place at the International Exhibition and Forum «Russia».
Russia's potential to create domestic software
Director of the Department for the Development of Mass Communications and International Cooperation of the Ministry of Digital development, communications and mass communications of the Russian Federation Ekaterina Larina believes that Russia has the potential to develop its own equipment and software.
She added that there is a problem with starting mass production of its equipment and software. This task should be solved by everyone involved in the development of government decisions to support import substitution.
The NTV television complex will move to a new complex equipped using Russian technologies
The NTV television company plans to move to a new television complex in 2024, equipped using Russian technologies, the general manager told reporters NTV director Alexey Zemsky.
More than 7 billion for particularly significant projects
The Russian Fund for the Development of Information Technologies (RFIT) will select especially significant projects for financing in the IT field following the results of the CIPR conference at the end of May, the fund pledged more than 7 billion rubles for their support, RFRIT General Director Alexander Pavlov spoke about this.
Currently the fund supports 22 particularly significant projects with a total grant funding of 18 billion rubles.
The international exhibition and forum «Russia» takes place on the territory of VDNKh in Moscow from November 4 to July 8.
