«We must never forget how important the village and those people who work in the village are for us. We are proud of the successes of those who work in agriculture, they are simply incredible. I will not list the numbers now, but just recently, a couple of decades ago, it seemed that, and we didn’t even think about it at all, it couldn’t have occurred to us that our exports of agricultural products would be multiple times higher than our arms exports,” Putin said during a meeting with trusted officials .
The meeting took place in the Grand Kremlin Palace. In total, about 400 people were invited to it.
