MOSCOW, March 21. Moscow will send teachers to the Central African Republic to introduce Russian as a foreign language into the national educational program, according to a message posted on the Telegram channel of the Russian Embassy in Bangui.
It states that on Thursday a working meeting of representatives of the Ministry of National Education of the Central African Republic with the leadership of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation was held via videoconference.
«A detailed discussion took place on the project for the construction of a Russian-Central African educational complex in the suburbs of Bangui,» the embassy added. They indicated that “the Russian side announced the decision to send Russian teachers to the CAR with the aim of introducing Russian into the national educational program as a foreign language.”
In addition, at the meeting, the State Minister of National Education of the Central African Republic was invited to the Second Forum of Ministers of Education in Kazan in June 2024.
