Cosmonautics historian Alexander Zheleznyakov, in a conversation with journalists, commented on the decision to cancel the launch of the Soyuz MS-25 manned spacecraft immediately before launch.
< p>According to the expert, there have never been such cases in the history of Russian cosmonautics.
“Immediately before the “start” command, the launches of manned spacecraft were not cancelled. There were other excesses, but there were no such incidents. It happened with unmanned ones, but not with manned ones,” said Zheleznyakov.
Recall that the launch of the Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle with the manned Soyuz MS-25 spacecraft, scheduled for 16:21 Moscow time March 21 was canceled — 20 seconds before the start the automatic system worked.
