In the meeting room of the Central Election Commission, after adopting a resolution on the results of the presidential elections of the Russian Federation and announcing the election of Putin as head of state, the Russian Anthem was played.
Presidential elections in Russia took place from March 15 to 17. On Thursday, Pamfilova announced the official voting results: Vladimir Putin received 87.28% of the votes, Nikolai Kharitonov — 4.31%, Vladislav Davankov — 3.85%, Leonid Slutsky — 3.20%. The turnout was 77.44%, setting a record in the modern history of Russia.
