MOSCOW, March 22 The Bank of Russia sees the growing role of payments between individuals in dubious transactions, will analyze and, if necessary, take action, said the head of the regulator Elvira Nabiullina at a press conference following the meeting of the board of directors.
«As for recommendations on transfers. This is due to our work to combat suspicious, dubious transactions. We have seen recently that, indeed, despite the general decrease in the volume of dubious transactions, the role of such a channel as p2p (transfers) has increased between individuals — ed.), transfers in these dubious transactions, payments,» Nabiullina said.
«And in this regard, recommendations were sent to banks on what they should do, how to identify payments, what work to carry out. We will analyze how it is carried out and, if necessary, take additional measures,» she noted.
